The New School of Human Performance isn’t about cookbooks, menus of drills or current fads. We
believe sound performance improvement methods are principled as well as evidence-based. We also use
consensus decision-making for checks and balances. Together, these three screens make an extremely
effective noise filter.

The state of the art in any discipline is a moving target, so
best practices are more than just an operating
platform. They are a point of departure for innovation and experimentation. That’s especially valuable at
the cutting edge where the stakes are highest, but the noise is often loudest. Our goal is to help
practitioners improve their signal-to-noise ratio.

We do not offer the “black book of secrets”. We will not serve koolaid. We offer situation-specific
solutions that are based on best practices. If maximum human performance is your target — and you need
real-world, no-nonsense results — you’ve come to the right place.
Prepare To Be A Champion!
The NSHP team was founded on a simple premise: Performance improvement strategies should be
principled, evidence-based, and reached via consensus.
Our performance training solutions are
rigorously prepared by four old boys with finely-tuned baloney detectors (and mild cases of OCD). We
bring 8 collective decades of experience — as well as our network of colleagues and resources — to the
game.
