The Cybex Isokinetic Test is conducted on day #1. In technical jargon, it’s a
bilateral knee extension-flexion test performed at two concentric speeds with
“accommodating resistance”. Prior to the test, athletes warm-up on a Cyclone
Bike or an Arc Trainer, and then perform 3 warm-up reps on the HUMAC
NORM. The protocol involves 3 reps at 60 degrees/second and 15 reps at 300
degrees/second. Results are provided on a 1-page Short Form Curve Overlay
Report including the athlete’s demographics, a graph of torque vs. position
curves, and best repetition values and comparisons.
